대부분의 사람들에게 있어 ‘디자인’이란 ‘겉치레’를 의미하곤 한다.
인테리어 장식이나, 커튼과 소파의 질감 같은 것들 말이다.
하지만 내게는 세상 그 어떤 것도 디자인이 아닌 것이 없다.
디자인은 인간이 만든 창조물의 가장 근본적인 본질로, 제품이나 서비스를 둘러싼 겹겹의 외형에 마침내 그 자신을 드러내는 것이다
